I’ve always managed to get an appointment and the staff have been exceptional. They have a wonderful team and a wonderful practice manager who is so caring and helpful. I would not change my GP practice for any other. Thank you #TeamSharrowMedicalPractice Shah

I have been registered with this surgery for over 30 years. A significant improvement over the past 10 years in particular. The practice provides a high quality of patient care, well-trained staffing levels, patient safety, clean and well-organized premises, and equipment and technology. Online, I can book an appointment as well as order repeat prescriptions and change my choice of pharmacy and other services. The telephone was very cautious and polite and offered to call back as they promise. Whether these improvements are a result of a clinical audit or management initiatives, it has been widely noted that a quality improvement activity is designed to improve patient care and outcomes in many areas of the surgery. The quality of the clinical team, in particular, all experienced in early diagnoses and follow-up with sound consultations and care provision. The admin staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health care, test results, change in medication and changes in my appointments. An excellent high level of professionalism under the management dedicated to patients' particular needs and care. The provision of interpreters' service makes it a unique health provider focusing on ethnic communities and excelling in care provision as well as offering additional support when needed. Clearly, this practice is an excellent example of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practices in every aspect.

Review titled Continually Poor and Shocking Service

The only thing that’s reliable with this Practice is a rude and blunt reception team and continued bad service. Often missing repeat prescription requests for chronic pain relief (even when taken over the phone, as I know from the past that emails often don’t get picked up). Extremely defensive reception team members that don’t or can’t listen or understand simple requests. Front line staff definitely need retraining. Poor service all round.

It was poor before the Pandemic and now it seems to be even more short staffed with less appointments available. Call up to get an appointment and wait in queue to get cut off (happened many times to myself and housemate). Shocking ‘service’, even GP friends have warned me of their known reputation.

Staff are helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. If you phone at 9am you can usually get a same day appointment or book in advance for less urgent matters.
