I walked in to reception to ask when my repeat prescription will be ready. The receptionist was polite to my face and gave adequate information for my enquiry. However, when I turned to walk away the female receptionist then said something derogatory behind my back, I have good hearing. Makes a person feel unwelcome abd discriminated against. The Dr I saw was much better.

Used triage service phone call within 20 mins back and appointment made with doctor for later that morning. Doctor spent time listening and carrying out examination.

After using triage system was contacted the same day with an appointment. Was seen by pleasant and professional doctor who listened and diagnosed the problem referred to physiotherapy team very quickly.

Doctors were very understanding and so willing to help explained everything in great detail and called me back after he did some research on my problems was really satisfied

My husband died on the 3 rd April, so how was he seen in the practice??? This is so upsetting to get messages like this. I know they are automated, but really please bear this in mind to cause no distress to anyone else

Dear Mrs Lindley, First let me say, how terribly sorry for your loss we are at the practice. Secondly, we are incredibly sorry for the additional stress the automated text message caused you at this time of grief. You are right, it is an automated text service, and we usually do our best to prevent further communication from being sent to deceased patients and their family members as soon as possible once we have been informed of the death. The last contact which triggered the text message was on the day of your husbands death and therefore we didn't get confirmation of his passing in time to stop the message from being processed. I have raised this with our admin team to see if there is anything we can do to prevent this from happening to anyone else in the future. Attended surgery for vaccination. Quick and efficient service, total time upon arriving and leaving surgery was 10mins. Nurse explained any after effects in a clear explanation.

If you’re wanting a practice that won’t listen to your needs and problems, then this is the best doctors to go to!! They’re absolutely useless! I had a serious infection in my caesarean scar (diagnosed by my midwife, who deals with these on a daily basis), the doctor who I saw about this, told me it wasn’t infected but gave my antibiotics anyway. I took my currently 1 year old son to see the doctors 4 times between January and February, because he has had a chesty cough since before Christmas, the first doctor told me he want absolutely fine and there wasn’t anything wrong with him, the second doctor told me that he had croup, gave him a dose of steroids, that didn’t do anything, the third doctor told me that he was absolutely fine, the 4th doctor gave me an inhaler for him, but that there wasn’t anything wrong with him, and that I was wasting their time and appointments, but if there wasn’t anything wrong with him, why would you give me an inhaler? I went again a 5th time, and the doctor who saw me asked me what I wanted, and I replied with “for you to actually do something to help my son”, she then told me that I was wasting appointments and that she would refer me to a respiratory paediatric specialist, that appointment isn’t until September. My son had his 1 year vaccinations booked in, when I arrive they told me that they weren’t insured to do it because I had changed address, so they not only wasted an appointment but my time, my fuel and my time off of work, when all of that could have been discussed over the phone with me had they even thought to have used some sort of communication with each other. They are quite literally the worst doctors I have ever been to. How anyone says that they’re the best doctors they have ever been to, I do not know.
