    Once again I left the pharmacy upset by the attitude towards me regarding my repeat prescription,(15.08.23 at 09.10hrs) once again I struggle to see the boxes I'm supposed to tick because I don't carry my glasses with me when I cycle to the surgery, I explained this to the assistant behind the counter but she insisted I tick the boxes myself, I also explained to her that I had received a phone call from the pharmacy manager letting me know about a staff meeting she had with all the staff and assured me they would be more understanding and caring to peoples needs in the future. I'm afraid this hasn't happened, the assistant looked at me as if to say the manager hasn't phoned you and once again I was told to fill out the form because she's not doing it anymore, I couldn't see where to tick and after another explanation she said she would do it this time only and make sure I bring my glasses with me next time, The doctors, nurses and receptionist I give 9.5/10 the pharmacy staff or this one person 4/10, I will not go through this degrading performance again as I have signed upto an online pharmacy and will have my repeat prescription delivered to my house

    I usually have nothing but praise for the staff but this morning when I went to collect my repeat prescription the young assistant told me to tick the boxes for next months repeat, I didn't have my glasses with me so couldn't see the paperwork to tick the boxes, I explained this to the assistant who just said "well take it home and fill it in then bring it back" I found this to be most unhelpful, the assistants that normally give me the prescription are very helpful and tick the relevant boxes like they have for the past ten years with no problems but todays experience left me quite upset and I left the pharmacy without filling out any prescription forms so I will probably not get next months meds, I was polite at all times and explained about not being able to see the form properly but it made no difference, I feel very sorry to write a negative experience about an otherwise excellent surgery, pharmacy and reception so please accept my apologies for that

    I was referred to the breast clinic by my doctor who thought she felt something in the area of mastectomy I had over four years ago. As I had waited four weeks for the appointment I was very nervous of the outcome. Soon after arriving I was examined by a doctor, had a mammogram and an ultrasound scan then saw the same doctor again who reassured me to my enormous relief, that all was well. I cannot speak too highly of the treatment and care I received from every member of the breast team. Before I left, the doctor told me that if I had any concerns in the future I was to contact the Breast Clinic directly which of course would have saved me weeks of worrying had I known this was possible. Heartfelt thanks to the whole team for your care and sensitivity. Well Done !!

    GP and reception staff were really lovely and thoughtful when I recently attended. The lady on reception was very kind and helpful and settled my nerves before seeing the GP who listened and cared about my opinion. I felt it was a two way conversation and am relieved that I now feel able to contact my GP without fear or judgement having never had to use the service before.

  5. Review titled Very good practice.....but ...

    Great team, great practice but for two things, the time waiting to get through to receptionist ( this morning 66 minutes 16 seconds ) and the the time to wait for a routine appointment. 5 weeks. I’m sorry but I don’t find either of these thing acceptable.

    After waiting 20 minutes to get through (at 3pm in the afternoon, so not the usual 8am rush) the receptionist took my details and then put the phone down on me. They have made no attempt to call me back so I guess its another 20 minute wait or drive the 10 miles to book an appointment face to face.
