    I rang on Friday for an appointment to have a chat about period problems. Receptionist didn’t give me exact time of when the doctor would ring as I had to be at work at 12pm that day and wouldn’t have access to phone. Doctor rang me at 11:30, when I was on the bus and said they’d call me back Monday. When they did call it was a very short and snappy conversation and I wasn’t very happy with the service I received as I didn’t get the help I was hoping for. Not a happy patient

    I visited my local GP surgery for a review of my suspected COPD and although the nurse confirmed that I had moderate COPD, I was delighted with her assessment, explanation and treatment of my condition. I was told that I had COPD for years and have been given an inhaler some years ago which never worked for me but I have now been given an inhaler which will last 24 hours and tablets which will break down the mucus, allowing me to breathe easier. Brilliant, very impressed with her performance and only wish that I could name her. Suffice to say that she was an expert on lung function and certainly knew what she was talking about. Thank you.
