COVID19 Update

During these difficult times we have introduced some new ways in which you can collect or have your prescriptions supplied by your local Asda pharmacy:

“Call and Collect” Service  - we have launched a new “Call and Collect” Service, allowing you to call your local Asda pharmacy to check that your prescription is ready and then collect it without having to leave your vehicle.

Home Delivery Service - if you are categorised as “extremely vulnerable” by the Government then we will deliver your prescription to your home. If you are expecting a delivery, but have not received your medication then please contact your local Asda Pharmacy.

Telephone Consultation Service – we have introduced a telephone consultation service for our private services e.g. Hair Loss; Period Delay; Erectile Dysfunction

In store Services

To protect you and your family when visiting our instore pharmacies we have implemented a number of safety measures including: priority queuing for pharmacy only customers; pharmacy screens and personal protective equipment (PPE) for our pharmacy teams

Asda pharmacies provide a variety of healthcare services to help you make the most of your health and wellbeing.

We're here when you need us; we're open 7 days a week, including late evenings and bank holidays so you can visit an Asda Pharmacy when it’s convenient for you.

Appointments may be necessary.

Our trained pharmacists are happy to help and can discuss the services we have to offer.

Due to social distancing the range of services we are able to offer may be reduced, please ask a member of our pharmacy team for more information.

Electronic Prescription Service

This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you have nominated, this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving you time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
