Additional information

CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19 SAFEER PHARMACY OPENING TIMES UPDATE: Following the speech from the Prime Minister on March 23rd 2020, everyone must stay at home to help stop the spread of Coronavirus. Safeer Pharmacy amid the COVID-19 global pandemic have seen it advisable and reasonable to limit pharmacy opening hours during this difficult time. We will now be closing at the slightly earlier times of 9:30pm Sunday to Thursday, and 10:30pm Friday and Saturday. This is to help relieve strain on our NHS staff and to encourage the public to stay at home as required. NHS services are still available at the pharmacy. If you have symptoms of Coronavirus, to protect others, please do not go to places such as a GP surgery, Pharmacy or Hospital. Stay at home. Stay hydrated and manage symptoms as much as possible. Use the 111 online Coronavirus service to find out what to do if you are concerned. Call and inquire with us about your prescription needs. We are aiming to provide home delivery for important items and prescriptions whenever and wherever physically possible. For further information go to nhs.uk/coronavirus or gov.uk/coronavirus. We would like to thank all our valued customers for their ongoing support and understanding during this time.

Electronic Prescription Service

This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you have nominated, this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving you time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
