Overview

Nu-Cross Pharmacy has been serving Hitchin for over 20 years. We are based on the High Street opposite the main bus stops in the town providing an excllenst service to all our patients

 

We service many of the local GP Surgeries:

Courtenay House Surgery, Bancroft Court, Bancroft, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG5 1LH. 01462 434239.

Regal Chambers Surgery, 50 Bancroft, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG5 1LL. 01462 453232.

 

Nu-Cross Pharmacy offers a Prescription collectiion and delivery service deliveries are made on all weekdays only

 

Due to our location on the High Street, unfortunately there is no dedicated Pharmacy parking available however there is some limited free parking just a short walk from the pharmacy

 

We have a Chiropodist on site, please pop in or call to ask about our appointments and service.

Other services we offer are DPD drop off and collection point and also Hubbox service.

Every year we undertake an annual patient survey to enable our patients to provide valuable feedback on the services that we provide. The survey, undertaken by all community pharmacies in England, is called the Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire. The report of our survey results allows us to identify the areas where we are performing most strongly, the areas for improvement and the actions required to address issues raised by respondents. Our results for 2016/17 are provided here. we are currently conducting our 2018/2019 survey

Electronic Prescription Service

This pharmacy offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you have nominated, this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving you time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
