Overview

The wards at St Austell Community Hospital welcome visitors between 2pm and 4pm in the afternoon and 6pm to 8pm in the evening, with protected mealtimes between 5pm and 6pm.

We recommend patients bring a small number of items with them to make their stay in hospital more comfortable.

The hospital's minor injury unit is run by highly skilled nurses who are available to treat a range of minor conditions. If you are unsure whether your injury can be treated here, NHS 111 is available to provide further advice.

X-ray opening times: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

A number of outpatient clinics are provided from the hospital. Your appointment letter will provide more information but if you have any queries, please don't hesitate to call.

The hospital also provides emergency contraception.
