St Helier Hospital is a large general teaching hospital in south-west London which offers a full range of acute services for adults and children.
It is the largest hospital of the Trust and shares the site with Queen Mary's Hospital for Children.
St Helier is home to a 24-hour accident and emergency department, a newly refurbished maternity unit and a comprehensive range of diagnostic facilities within pathology and radiology (including MRI and CT scanning, ultrasound and vascular diagnostic services).
All emergency surgery in the Trust is performed at St Helier.
The renal unit provides acute renal care and dialysis and is integrated with the St George's Hospital transplantation programme.
The hospital is going from strength to strength and performing well in the vast majority of the Government's key standards for providing high quality care to patients.
