Dear Patients,

We really hope you are all well, and managing to keep safe. 

We felt we needed to keep everyone updated, following the latest guidance. We are excited to announce the phased re-opening of our Dental Clinics! We can’t wait to see you all. 

We have been very busy doing everything we can to ensure best practice to re-open to a new way of doing dentistry with patient safety, limited capacity and the prioritisation of appointments. 

We have a clear pandemic plan and additional operating protocols that need a few final touches. 

We will make sure that our re-opening is safe, effective and prioritises the most urgent needs, As you can appreciate following over 10 weeks of closure, we have been contacted by patients who are in desperate need, and so we have a priority list of patients to contact as soon as we can. 

We do not anticipate dentistry to be how we left it for a very long while. We have in mind a clear, structured and phased re-opening to all of the services we provide. We will endeavour to keep you updated as much as possible. 

We can’t thank you all enough for your incredible support during this difficult time for everyone. 

Thank you for being patient with us, and together as a team, we hope we can come through this safely and resume our services.

23.03.20 UPDATE - COVID19

Dear patients

We will no longer be taking appointments via our reception desks.

If you need to book an emergency appointment this must be completed via our telephone system - 01733 245055

Unfortunately due to the COVID19 we have now had to suspend all routine appointments and are now only working as a dental emergency service.

Our hours have also had to be adjusted to limit the time where staff members are exposed. 

Our new working hours will be:

9am - 12.45 Lunch 2pm - 5pm Monday to Thursday

9am - 2pm Friday

18.03.20- UPDATE

Over the past few weeks, it’s become clear that our world is facing an unprecedented challenge. Like you, we are deeply concerned and want to do what we can to help keep our patients, staff, communities, friends and families safe and healthy.

From the onset of this situation, we have been listening to the appropriate sources for accurate and up-to-date information, and our preparedness plan reflects those inputs. As things evolve, we are actively monitoring the situation and assessing risks, and are ready to implement immediate changes to ensure the highest level of safety. We will continue to communicate with you in a timely and transparent way via text, telephone calls and mail, with updates on our website on an on-going basis.

We ask that patients who have travelled oversees within the last two weeks please cancel your dental appointments.

We urge patients that have the following symptoms to self isolate for no less than 7 days:

-       High Temperature and/or a cough

For patients that have a low immunity or are elderly we ask that you defer your appointments if possible.

What we are doing:

We have already set a rigorous cleaning procedure in all clinics.

Everyone attending the clinics will be asked to wash their hands with hand sanitisers when entering the building

All magazines/newspapers will be removed from each of the clinics; in replacement will be laminated information sheets

All children’s toys have been removed from the buildings

Water dispensers will still be available in all clinics with disposable cups.

We are monitoring new developments so that we can quickly adapt and continue to provide dental care to all of our patients. In the event that we are no longer able to continue to see patients or we may need to limit the amount of patients seen at each clinic we will contact each patient and make them aware of the situation.

We are not taking on new patients

Polite Notice

Our practice policy is two failed to attend appointments and the system will de-register you.

We do ask patients if they are cancelling appointments to please give us at least 24hrs notice, anything less than 4 hours notice will be marked as a failure to attend.

In the month of February we had 108 patients that failed their appointment, amounting in 14 hours and 30 minutes wasted surgery time.
