Southern Health HQ

Southern Health provides a wide range of mental health, physical health and learning disability services for people across Hampshire. 

We have a team of 6,500 staff who work from over 300 sites.​​​​​​ We serve a population of around 1.5million people, with care available for every stage of their lives.

Our aim is to work alongside the people we support and our health and care partners, to constantly improve and deliver the best possible care.

Departments and services

Our services include:

Mental health services -  We provide community and inpatient services. We treat people within a single service, designed around the individual need of each person.  We have a range of specialist adult mental health services and an inpatient service for young people aged 12-18.

Physical Health services - We provide a range of  services both in the community and in our inpatient wards. We look at each patient’s individual needs when planning care and treatment. 

Learning disabilities services - our community learning disability teams work in partnership with local councils to provide assessment and support for adults with learning disabilities. 

Children and Family services - we support families, parents and carers of children aged from 0-19 years old  via access to Health Visitors and School Nurses.

Specialist and Forensic Mental Health Services - we provide intensive support for adults and young people with mental health needs in a secure setting.
