Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust became an FT in July 2013. TheTrust now runs St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester, Southlands Hospital, Shoreham-by-Sea, and Worthing Hospital, Worthing, as a single NHS organisation. The three hospitals have come together to deliver excellent, safe and sustainable health services for local people. The trust is rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and was one of only three acute trusts in the country to be awarded the CQC’s highest rating at the time.
