Nationally recognised for providing excellence in healthcare and one of only 7 Trusts in the UK chosen to be a showcase hospital for infection prevention we are justifiably proud of our achievements to date. Patient safety and quality of care are at the top of our agenda.  We have achieved NHSLA level 3 for our general services and NHSLA level 2 for our maternity services. Our campaign to reduce Healthcare Acquired Infections and save lives has significantly improved the quality of service for our patients. In 2012 we set the UK record for no cases of MRSA for 1142 days

We recognise that patients have choices to make about where they seek treatment and we want our hospital to be your first choice.
