Travel information

The hospital is located on Lovely Lane to the north of Warrington town centre between the A57 (Froghall Lane) and Lovely Lane. It is around 15 minutes walk from the town centre.


Licensed taxis and private hire vehicles are available and the hospital has freephones at the main entrance for ordering taxis.


A bus service from the town centre (No.16) passes the hospital with a stop directly outside the main entrance. All buses are low floor, wheelchair and buggy friendly.


The hospital also provides a free shuttle bus service between the Warrington hospital and Halton General hospital sites.

Parking

There are pay and display car parks at the main entrance, Croft Wing and the Ophthalmology Department. The first 30 minutes parking is free. After that charges are £3.00 for up to 5 hours and £5.00 for 5 hours and over for all users. Automatic Number Plate Recognition is used so you need to input your registration number when getting your ticket.

There are also a range of discounts available for long term patients, visitors and people making regular visits to the hospitals.
