I called on Saturday to pick up mine and my elderly neighbours prescriptions only to find a notice on the pharmacy saying it was closed again. This has happened several times in the past couple of months. Sometimes there’s a staff member who can reprint your prescription so you can find another pharmacy to dispense it and although this is inconvenient it’s better than not being able to get your medication at all. Tesco is our nominated pharmacy and prescriptions go through to them electronically so we don’t know until we arrive at the store if it’s going to be open or closed with our much needed medication stuck behind locked doors. We’ve been told that they don’t have enough staff but this simply isn’t good enough, patients need to be able to get their medication or at the very least have access to their prescriptions without having to worry about the pharmacy being closed again. This time there wasn’t even a date when they would be open although it did re open the next day.

  2. Review titled rude pharmacist who did not leave the patient to talk

I came to collect a prescription late evening .I was told that it would last just 5 minutes ,but the pharmacist stop dispensing my prescription as she was started to speak on the phone.I asked if it would be possible to finish my prescription and then to carry on to speak on the phone or to pass the phone to the colleague to whom she was working to speak with the other customer from the phone. The pharmacist started to shout at me telling that she was ''multitask''and if I am not happy about her services she could return the prescription to the spine to try somewhere else .It was late evening and I did need my medication for the infection and I said clearly that I am not going anywhere as I need the medication as I just came from hospital and the doctor sent it to Tesco.I consider as I was treated in a rude manner taking in consideration that I was in pain and I did need the medicine to start the treatment as soon as possible .When I tried to explain that the priority is the patient who was waiting in front of the pharmacy or who was first she started to shout at me telling me something about the unacceptable behavoiur .I did not understand which behaviour she was talking about as I just only asked how long it takes my prescription to be ready as it was just one item .I could not speak to her as she was just shouting and I even told her not to shout at me.Letter on when I was outside of Tesco I remember that I needed to buy also other medicine which I forgot due to the way how she spoke with me so I called the pharmacy and tried to explain that because she was such rude I did not have the chance to ask if they have a medicine is stock. She shouted again to me and put the phone down .I tried again to call but again I was told that I was harassing her as I keep calling the pharmacy and I disturbed her and if I call her again she will call the police. Unfortunatelly I did not have the chance to ask anything else about the other medicine which I was going to come back to the pharmacy to buy as she put all the time the phone down when she heard my voice ,did not leave me to talk as she keep shouting and covering my voice and even told me that I disturbed her calling the pharmacy Is Tesco company proud about the attitude of this kind of ''multitask'' pharmacists ?
