  1. Review titled Dangerous!!

I have been under turning Point for years, gradually reducing my prescription strength. I had a serious accident and ended up being prescribed oral morphine from the hospital/GP for 6 weeks which was stopped without notice for over a week until my GP prescribed me slow release morphine instead. I made a rather big mistake of being truthful with Turning Point and telling them that when the morphine was stopped without notice I really struggled and had to take addition methadone especially as i also suffer from osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and lueakeamia on top of the serious accident that involved degloving my foot plus large lacerations which caused a lot of nerve damage. I agreed with them that if they increased my methadone I would cancel my slow release morphine from my GP. A few days before my holiday I find out that not only have they not increased my methadone but they have written to my GP making out that I am buying street drugs to get high and advising him to stop my prescriptions. I spoke to this woman for all of 5 minutes yet she now thinks she knows me better than my consultants. I thought being truthful was the best option but now I realise that was a grave mistake. If this is how they treat their patients then I can only think that they are trying to push them onto street drugs to give them a reason to be needed. Seriously think carefully before engaging with Turning Point. They may claim to have your best interests at heart but their behaviour suggests otherwise!!!

  2. Review titled Yeovil is dreadful Avoid

After being led towards Turning Point by the NHS and after several lengthy phone consultations with them a face to face a meeting was arranged, the “nurse” couldn’t find / access notes the result were notes taken were inaccurate and not a representation of the meeting, information that was agreed to be sent to GP we’re not actioned. A request was made to “ F rank” to discuss was ignored both by text and email. It appears the service is purely profit driven and underlying other causes are ignored. Extremely poor
