I cannot thank the ENT team at Hawthorns Surgery enough for all the help in resolving an ear problem I'd had for over 6 months. After two visits to the ENT clinic I no longer have the infection which was so debilitating for me. I had seen several other GP's, consultants and alike to no avail and felt it was going to be an issue i would have to live with. Thank you so much for helping me get back to normal I'm so very grateful.

I was referred to muscle skeletal team early Sep 2023 with a fast degenerating disk issue. I was told I’d been placed on the urgent list because of my walking ability and I’d receive an appointment within 2 weeks. After calling the service and my doctor contacting them again after his referral for an urgent appointment, I still heard nothing. By Nov the same year I was effectively housebound and could not walk or move without chronic pain. I unfortunately had to revert to going private which consumed all my life savings. I was eventually offered a NHS appointment 4 months after the original referral requested from my doctor. I feel let down by the service I’ve effectively contributed to all my working life by not been supported by the NHS.

I have recently become the main carer for my mum, who has terminal cancer and I have been blown away by the level of support and care I've received from staff at Peter Street Surgery, Dover. Everyone I have spoken to - from the reception team, practice nurses and GPs have gone out of their way to support me by providing flexibility around appointments to fit in around my mum's treatment. They have also signposted me to potential services and sources of support available to carers. Above all, they have shown great compassion and have made me feel I'm not alone on this very difficult journey.

Did a stop smoking clinic for 3 months. Had problems getting my script for Nicorette. Only went smoothly the first week and the last week. Person who was dealing with my case went on holiday for 8 weeks. Left with the manager who had too much to do than he could handle. Made it twice as difficult to give up the cigarettes as was forced to go round all the houses just to get the script. Was supposed to be support. Would not recommend.

My local GPS, Cutlers Hill Surgery in Halesworth Suffolk are absolutely outstanding. Within a few rings you can get through to reception, then you always get a same day appointment. The staff are caring and have terrific people skills. A vital talent in this field. The doctors and in particular the nurse practitioners are very knowledgeable and always take the time to listen. When my son was poorly, we had to bring him home. I could not believe how efficient the Practice were at arranging his care, all in the height of COVID. I feel that nothing is too much trouble for them. My husband and I are so grateful we have this brilliant surgery.

Absolutely brillient. The whole team were great from start to finish. They explained everything and were very professional in every way. The location and parking were so convenient which is a massive bonus than having to pay parking charges in the hospital, that's if you could get a space! This is what makes the NHS great .

After leaving his statins at home while on holiday. My husband needed an emergency prescription. We found the staff at the Carbis Bay Pharmacy extremely helpful in providing him we his Statin. Thank God for Carbis Bay Pharmacy in Cornwall.

the appointment was efficient and well run. The clinic in Westbourne was easy to find from the instructions given and the staff were polite and very helpful. I return again for a follow up later this month

111 called ambulance. The medical Team were caring and thorough and made me feel at ease. I was not treated as a number and time was given to make sure I was alright. This was also true at Worthing hospital. The nurses and the doctor who diagnosed me were considerate and humanwhen they might have even officious given the pressures they are under. Such a profoundly worthwhile profession to have chosen and my thanks go to all.
