    I booked an urgent Holder monitor for my 90 year old father (after he suffered a mini stroke) to avoid the Nhs waiting lists. I was told the result would be available in three days from his G.P. It's now over 16 days and my father has still not been giving the result (despite our enquiring 5 times from the G.p). I wonder what was the point of going private! The last two times I have tried to get through to the Clementine Churchill cardiology department the phone line has gone dead after ringing for a while. And now he's been sent a bill for £381!!! Very disappointing.

    Called for weeks to figure out who to speak to about an appointment; never picks up the phone, then when they do, they pass you around various departments (some, erroneously) and don't end up answering your question.

    Kind friendly and very efficient service. Staff and consultant were superb. The hospital is very clean and the time keeping was good.

    I'll preface this with, everyone *other* than the specialist I am referring to was wonderful, and would have recommended the services if this specialist wasn't involved. The Doctor who I saw, was without a doubt, one of the most condescending and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. They spent some of the appointment bad mouthing other doctors, complaining about their systems and quizzing me about policies and results of tests. He would talk down to me whenever I asked a question as If I'm supposed to have a MD also?! this is part of the job! you mostly treat people who *aren't* doctors. I would relish the opportunity to speak to someone further about this, as I am so appalled with this treatment I received and I am extremely concerned of how they may treat another patient in a more precarious disposition.
