  1. Review titled Can not speak to a nurse

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 11 January 2023

I was told that if I had any concerns about my condition between appointments I could contact the Hospital which I did. I have left messages but have not been contacted. We are told not to go to A&E and I feel it's no point in being a patient at this Hospital when theyrefuse to communicate with their patients

  2. Review titled No contact wanted

Rated 1 star out of 5

I am a Lymphoma patient and was told I could contact the Christies if I had concerns between appointments. I rang having concerns. No details were asked just told to ring 111. Have 111 replaced Hospitals. Do I need to now wait 4 months for my next appointment or discuss my symptoms with 111 call centre. It seems The Christies don't want any patients so I am as it my next phone consultation

  4. Review titled Living in fear

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 February 2023

Since the start of Covid Covid has been used as an excuse not to see patients. Nothing has changed and patients cannot get through the doors and are abandoned. The only way to see a Doctor is to go private or suffer if patients cannot afford private treatment. Why are Cancer patients seen as a threat or like someone with the plague. It's quite scary and nobody answers the phones or returns calls. It's like living in a third world country with the non existent care

  5. Review titled Coronavirus excuse

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 March 2023

The Christie's are continuing to use Covid as an excuse to keep patients away from the Hospital.Three years without seeing a Doctor for a follow up is a waste of time. Examinations cannot be done over the phone or blood tests. I am now so terrified of Hospitals and Doctors after being told we have to protect the NHS. Who is protecting us. Do we have to now accept there is no cancer care Don't ask me to contact PALs as nobody answers the phones in any department or returns calls when messages left even the specialist nurses
