    I usually have good experience when I visit the maternity ward but this time was horrible. I had an appointment at 2o clock and I left the clinic at 6:40. I was seen by the midwife but not by a doctor who forgot I was in the room waiting. I asked 2/3 times to be seen but it was delayed. I eventually said im leaving and I was told it was upto me. I find it unacceptable I had to wait 4 hours and a half and still did not see a doctor nor I got an apology. Instead I was told think positive not being seen means you don’t have an emergency. When I met two of my friends who came a lot later than me, they were seen and left hours before me and they did not have any emergency. And to make it better I even got a parking ticket. Thank you so much to the antenatal clinic. Put me in a room and forget about my existence in there. No apology and nothing. Please do your job, you’re paid for it.

    due to an administrative error on my consultants letter to my gp i am unable to obtain repeat prescrition to continue treatment after the 4 month review. simple answer really gp said they will clarify by email with dermatology and then continue to issue repeat prescription. why am disappointed because after one month dermatology have not clarified or replied to gp emails the telephone number on the clinic web site is unobtainable ?? i have left messages for the secretary's to ring me but no response in essence the dermatology clinic in my experience is uncontactable and in my case unresponsive after one month of failure despite repeated efforts to speak to the clinic my condition is now regressing and this is totally unavoidable if someone would respond i will keep trying but i feel my next option is to physically attend the clinic and try to speak to a human being not leave messages or emails which are ignored ???

    Having experienced a knee injury, initially I called 111 where I was able to explain my condition. Questions were thorough and as I wasn’t experiencing severe pain, I was referred on to a specialist department, being informed I would be contacted within 4 hours. Around 2 hours later I was contacted by my local hospital. Having ascertained my condition I was recommended to attend the a and e department in the morning, where I would be referred to an emergency practitioner nurse. I was pleased that a and e had my record in the morning, and once questioned by triage, I was immediately sent to the walk-in centre where I was attended to within 15 minutes. My injury was assessed, diagnosed and I was offered an X-ray for my own peace of mind. The wait for an X-ray was 20-30 minutes; on returning to the walk-in centre I was seen within 10 minutes to receive the results of the X-ray. As there wasn’t a problem, I was able to leave the hospital with self-care guidance and reference numbers if needed in future. I was impressed with the whole beginning to end experience which saved me time, and freed up the a and e department which I otherwise might have attended being concerned about my injury. My huge thanks to all concerned.

    My mum fell and cut her head and was advised by her GP to go to hospital, from us walking in the staff were amazing very re- assuring and through can not fault the hospital and staff, thank you so much.

    Recently I had a phone call cardiology appointment which is a very good way to carry out patient screening, for both staff and patients, saving valuable time. As a result of the consultation I received an appointment for a test to be carried out at TGH which arrived soon after the initial consultation. This was first class service as is always the case at TGH. Well done the cardiology department and well done TGH.

    Had a phone call cardiology appointment. This is a very good way to carry patient screen when it can be applied; saves time. From this phone call a further appointment has been booked and one that I will have to visit TGH; received the appointment within days of the phone call appointment. The service was brilliant as is always the case at TGH. Well done the cardiology department and well done TGH.

    I saw my GP 3weeks ago with Symptoms of severe Breathlessness and after preliminary examination & ECG . She noted problems with The ECG results, and concern over a Heart Murmur. She referred me to Cardiology Tameside Hospital as a Rapid Access patient. I was seen Quickly within Two Weeks..& a Echocardiogram ordered.. I had this done recently at the beginning of April. The Technician discovered HCM & said The Cardiologist would explain this Diagnosis with me. My concern is not sure when this will be and in the meantime I am desperate to start treatment for my distressing symptoms..

    After being admitted to A & E after suffering a heart attack I was treated quickly and efficiently with great respect. I was to moved to the Accute Cardiology Unit where the care from all of the staff from the consultant to the cleaners was exceptional. I was informed clearly of everything, the staff were caring and compassionate at all times. Can't thank them enough. I was then moved to Ward 30 in the Charlesworth Building for one night. Once again all the staff were amazing. Thank you everyone.
