    Yesterday I had both eyes injected and would like to commend the ladies who did it and say a big thank you. They where very careful and considerate to limit the discomfort to a minimum and my eyes feel very good today. Thank you, Ann.

    I had a follow up specialist appointment for my young son today, on an issue he has been experiencing for nearly 18 months now. We have seen doctors on this matter before, but this was the first time we had visited Stratford hospital for an appointment. The logistics itself of getting to the hospital and parking were so simple! And we had no wait time at all which I am not used to when it comes to a typical hospital experience. But the main reason I'm writing the review is the fantastic service the doctor provided. It was the first time on this matter that a doctor took the time to clearly and compassionately explain the issue in detail, the implications and the choices available to me as a parent. He answered all my questions in full. And on top of that his manner with my son was brilliant. The experience was miles beyond anything we've experienced with other doctors and hospitals in the last 18 months.

    Went to pharmacy today to get my prescription was told they didn't have any in stock, absolutely disgraceful services and terrible stock management. I will now have to spend extra unnecessary train fare to go back to the pharmacy to get my prescription when it's back in stock which is totally unacceptable in a time when people are struggling financially and don't need this sort of inconvenience stress and headache. Seriously pharmacy - do better!

    Everyone I encountered last Friday, from the receptionist in building 1, where I went by mistake, to everyone I met in the imaging department was kind, warm and professional. I should particularly like to mention the young lady who prepared me for the scan (I see that I can't mention her by name, sadly) who was very reassuring and made the whole experience easy for me. No waiting either. Great job everyone!

    My GP decided I needed an MRI scan. Three days later (on a Sunday) I was contacted by the hospital who offered an appointment on the following Thursday. The results were sent to my GP within days so that further treatment can be arranged. All the staff in the imaging unit were excellent: from reception through to the skilled staff operating the technology. The speed of turn round of the results was outstanding measured against their objective of "seven to ten days". An example of best practice in my opinion.
