Rolled up at 22.00 with eye full of dust and debris. Seen with 10 minutes, eye inspected and treatment provided. Meds to bring home and thorough aftercare instructions. Home by 22.30pm. I write with gratitude, hope and thanks to our NHS and Skegness hospital. Long may you survive and thrive

Review titled First class knowledge and understanding

I have been having physiotherapy sessions at Skegness hospital for a few months. The difference it has made to the movement /agility of my shoulders is quite remarkable. The knowledge and understanding of the physiotherapist is first class. It has made a real difference to my life. I will continue with the activities even after being discharged.

My experience was stressful and time consuming waiting one and a half hours to be seen and then receiving no treatment from a rude, uncaring and patronising member of staff. I am not taking my complaint any further because I feel no action will be taken. My experience was disgusting. My reason for leaving this review is to enable the public to read about my experience. I will never use this service again.

Thank you to the team at the Urgent Treatment Centre for the treatment I received today. I am grateful to everyone I encountered today at Skegness Hospital, feeling anxious and for their expertise and kindness.

My Mum was admitted to Gloucester Ward in Skegness Hospital in September 2021 . She stayed there for 3 weeks, being discharged on her 93rd birthday back to her home. She was full of praise for all of the staff on there. This year, 2022 , the day before her birthday, she had a fall and was back there again! Unfortunately, 2 days later she developed a chest infection which sadly led to her death last night. The love and devotion, not only to her, but the rest of the family could not be faulted. Nothing was too much trouble. Myself and my son were allowed to stay with her day and night and were looked after in every way too. We are indebted to every single member of staff who works on that ward, as they made an awful time into something to remember with affection. I can't thank them enough.
