    Filling fell out. Contacted 111 and they got dental hospital to contact me with a time. Ito ly took a couple of minutes for them to ring me. Very nice lady on phone. Went to appointment to be treated immediately with the upmost respect and care. I was very scared due to a bad experience but they were brilliant. A male trainee sorted me out explaining everything and most importantly making me feel comfortable and not scared. Tooth was removed and sent on my way a very happy lady. Thank you very much.

    Had a filling come out around 12 weeks ago, could not register anywhere with a Dentist. Pain became severe and constant , called 111 who referred me, phone call within 15 minutes offering an appointment at 8.45am the following day. Staff were superb, comprehensive history taken and outcome was for tooth to be extracted. Dental work carried out by very competent student being overseen at all times by a consultant. Very pleasant and professional, procedure was explained and carried out to a very very high standard and now pain free. All the staff from the receptionist, nurses, student dentists and consultant are a credit to the NHS

    My back tooth broke on holiday in late October. Went to my dentist who sent an appt request to dental hospital as injections don’t work on me. To cut a long story short, following calls to 111 and another visit to my dentist plus two lots of antibiotics I rang the hospital for an emergency appt. I was told that I would be on a waiting list for about 4 months. I’ve got an abcess, a very sharp tooth which keeps cutting my tongue and am in terrific pain. I now have earache and a sore jaw. I have not had a Proper nights sleep for weeks. This is disgraceful.

    Accompanied my elderly Mum to the hospital for a consultation. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, we were seen on time and my Mum was able to have the examination and X-ray done without having to get out of her wheelchair. The surgeon we saw was very clear about explaining the outcome of the consultation and we felt we were well supported on all fronts. Thanks to all who made this such a positive experience.

    I cannot thank both the students and consultants enough for the first class treatment I recieved on Thursday 13th October. The students were meticulous in their assessments which was constantly overseen. At no time was I concerned that I was receiving anything but the best of attention That I was immediately taken for an emergency extraction was a relief. The highly professional way the extraction was carried out I cannot praise enough. At all times great care was taken to reassure me and it was obvious that the students deeply cared about their work. Unfortunately the tooth fairy failed to exchange the tooth for money but times are tight You have my gratitude

    I went today to support my fiance who has a fear of dentists, It was quite a difficult extraction of a tooth that had previously has a root canal. They all did a fantastic job at putting my fiance at ease and explaining everything they were doing as the did it.

    Had my little one there today for teeth out under general anaesthetic and I have to say what a fantastic job they all did of making us feel at ease from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the anaesthetist was just wonderful my son giggled himself off to sleep, there was not one single tear from my son all day and to say he was so nervous and apprehensive it being his first medical procedure, I really think this will have a life long positive impression for any future troubles he may have, just as we always remember the bad I’m sure he will never forget this good experience, absolutely fantastic to each and everyone we dealt with today. Thank you all so much.

    I visited the dental hospital today and all the staff were friendly and polite and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The dentist was very comprehensive and took their time to get a holistic understanding of my issues and seemed to genuinely care. It makes a nice change from being rushed and treated as though you’re an inconvenience to the NHS.

    I would like to thank the dental nurses as well as the dentists who saw me all three of them I would like to put there names down but sadly can't If possible could you look up there names and give them the great feedback or contact me personally and I would gladly give the names of them since they where all so great and put mind at ease while I was there especially the dentist who saw me multiple times. I went away happy each time I visited at ease and glad that there is a place where they can learn with skill. In all I'm happy at the way I was treated and would recommend this dental hospital for treatment such a good place.

    My 8 year old daughter is very scared of the dentist. Was referred to have some teeth removed under general anesthetic for a 1300 appointment. The nurses and doctors where told on arrival she was very scared. People arrived after her and got seen before her. She eventually went down at 1530. She had a panic attack and my wife was told that because she refused to have the operation they can't do it as an i year old is apparently old enough to refuse concent. They have now gave us another appointment for 0800 on a morning I July and said they will give her a drink to sedate her. Why they could not of done this at any point his afternoon knowing fine well she was anxious and scared is an absolute joke. My wife and mother have taken a day off work to travel to Newcastle from catterick for nothing. And now expected to do it all over again. I really don't understand how you think it's acceptable to sag ab 8 year old is old enough to revoke concent. A y kid would say no if they are scared.
