  1. Review titled Great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mr Tocknell - Posted on 20 January 2023

Very comforting and careing staff. I was made very relaxed due to me being stressed over the treatment. Found it very informative of what the procedure was going to take place. Plenty of parking and access very good. Over all I would recommend Cirencester hospital to anyone. The practice was very clean. All members of staff were very cheerful and had a smile which made it very welcoming.

Kind and caring staff from arrival to departure. Really well looked after and reassured before and during the proceedure. Also appreciate the time given to discuss findings with Dr immediately after. Thank-you all .

Dear anonymous Thank you for your feedback – I am sorry you were unable to find an unlocked toilet when you visited Cirencester Hospital. I have made enquiries and have been informed that the toilet by the main reception is locked outside of usual office hours as they were being misused when no-one was on reception. However, I have been assured that there are other toilets accessible throughout the ground floor – at MIiU, at the reception area outside Coln Ward, and two further toilets at end of corridor by the former restaurant. Should you find yourself in this situation again, please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff for help. Kind regards, Toni Cooper Senior PALS Officer Patient and Carer Experience Team 0300 421 8313 experience@ghc.nhs.uk

From arrival to leaving I was treated with courtesy, friendliness & respect by all the great people I met @ Cirencester hospital. Although I had a long wait my treatment was given by all in a most professional friendly manner. Many thanks to all of you.

  5. Review titled Wonderful staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Chloe - Posted on 16 December 2022

I went in for an operation at the treatment centre. The nurses were so caring and couldn’t do enough to put me at ease and even took me out to the car after the operation. The anaesthetists were so lovely, knew I was anxious, so talked through everything I was worried about. All staff were amazing!

  7. Review titled Closed without notice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 August 2022

We took our daughter to the Minor Injuries Unit. After waiting for some time to try and enter, someone finally walked round and told us the Unit had had to "close for an hour or so". They wouldn't give us an approximate time of when it would re-open. This was without notice and there wasn't even a sign put out to let people know it was closed. We weren't given any information on where else we could go and no enquiry was made as to our daughter's condition.

Dear Anonymous, I’m very sorry that our MIiU closed unexpectedly without further information, and that you were not asked about your daughter’s condition or told where else you could go. Our Patient and Carer Experience Team (PCET) would like to discuss your concerns with you – would you be able to contact us on 0300 421 8313, or via experience@ghc.nhs.uk please? I hope your daughter is feeling better. Best wishes, Toni Cooper, Senior PALS Officer

Thank you so much to the team at Cirencester Treatment centre. Excellent care and lovely staff, I felt at ease the whole time. The staff couldn’t do enough, and we’re so lucky to have such a fabulous hospital here providing first class services and care.

  9. Review titled Fantastic staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Kevin Howie - Posted on 03 May 2022

The whole staff team were just so caring, went way above and beyond. My surgery was changed from general anaesthetic to local because of my blood pressure but they genuinely took so much time to look after me it was superb. Special thanks to the Ward staff and the surgery team (incredibly supportive in talking to me all the time during surgery and playing 80s hits!)but seriously thanks to the whole team. The surgeons were incredibly down to earth and approachable.

  10. Review titled Wonderful efficient treatment and guidance

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 September 2022

I had 3 covid jabs at Cirencester Hospital. The care and efficiency from guidance to car park to exiting the site was superb. As such I do not understand why for the seasonal vaccination my nearest location is a pub in Swindon?
