  1. Review titled Wonderful service, excellent staff. Thank you!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Ref job 107823052024. My 94 year old Mum had a fall at home this morning, with suspected neck of femur fracture. I wanted to thank everyone involved at LAS for their exemplary service and kindness. From the call taker and then the Advanced Paramedic Practitioner on the critical care desk, to the two delightful, kind, compassionate and efficient paramedics who delivered the initial treatment in Mum's house. I felt so reassured by how well everything was handled in this difficult and stressful moment of time. Please pass on my sincerest thanks and appreciation to all involved.

  2. Review titled Trust your instincts not always ambulance staff

Rated 3 stars out of 5

My mum was sent an ambulance by NHS111. The male member of the crew was patronising and implying that the visit was a waste of his time. That she should just expect issues with the medication she has been given and there was no need for her to go to hospital and see her GP the next day as her obs were fine. When she got to the hospital they say there had been bleeding and kept her in.

  3. Review titled Great team

Two paramedics and a student. Came to assist my mother in law. They were friendly polite caring and did everything to keep my mother in law calm. She had fallen and we couldn't get her up. They got her up and.looked after her and kept us in the loop. After all checks it was agreed she didn't need to go to hospital and we agreed with this. These men are saints.

  4. Review titled Caring and compassionate service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Really appreciate the care that was offered to my mother when she collapsed while shopping at Sainsbury’s (late afternoon 17 May ‘24). My mother reported the first responder was very kind, respectful and extremely thorough. Similarly, the paramedics who took her to Hillingdon Hospital, were equally so, using humour to allay her fears. Please convey our gratitude to those three excellent members of the LAS, who treated my mum with respect and kindness and importantly made sure she was safe. They probably think they were ‘just doing their job’ but my mum thought they went above and beyond. Thank you (all) very much.

The paramedic was so reassuring in our time of stress and worry. Thorough, kind, patient, warm and professional. A really wonderful paramedic in a service under extreme pressure. My partner received the best treatment and was correctly advised.

On Friday 26th April I fell and fractured my humerus. A paramedic from Westminster arrived within 40 mins, eased my discomfort and was so pleasant, professional and reassuring. The ambulance arrived just 10 mins later (also from Westminster) and were equally brilliant. Thank you.

On 25th March 2024 T and J of the NHS ambulance service (y902 cad 1426) attended my mother at home. Their professionalism and the way they took care of her was absolutely remarkable. Their kindness went beyond. As a nurse, I really appreciated their empathy. Thank you. You have no idea how much that meant to my mother and me at such a distressful moment.
