The doctors are OK the receptionist is very rude and unhelpful. I needed some of my sons medication and the receptionist wouldn't help and was very rude. A nurse came out and was very helpful and did the job the receptionist should have I wouldn't recommend

I called to ask to speak to a doctor today for a very personal issue. I am totally disgusted that even though i stated it was a very sensitive subject the reception staff pressured me to tell them what was wrong with me. I stated that it was very personal and I would prefer to speak to the doctor about it, to which the reception staff said can't speak to a doctor unless tell her what is wrong and then went on to say no to me speaking to a doctor. Where is my confidentiality? The reception staff are not doctors and should not really be asking what is wrong with my body and if I choose not to tell them that I am told to go to A&E instead. Totally disgusting! No wonder A&E is so full all the time. I should not have to tell reception staff what my problem is especially if I state its sensitive issue. Have been with this GP for over 40yrs, the doctors have always been amazing to me but I am getting really fed up of the reception staff pressuring for sensitive information and if you don't give they basically tell you to get lost.
