   It was impossible for me to be seen by a doctor. I called first thing in the morning for three days and was always told that the same day face to face appointments had already gone (I literally called the moment the practice opens). Even a note sent from 111 saying that I should be seen by a doctor was not enough to grant me a same day in person appointment. Phone appointments cannot always substitute face to face ones: there are cases where a doctor needs to make examinations,not just chat with you. Plus, the receptionists can be rude.
