    I phoned for an online appt having been ill fir 8 days. Sympathetic helpful receptionist who said a medical practitioner would phone back the same day which surprised me. Then I was invited into the surgery for face to face with nurse. Only waited 10 minutes over appt time. Lovely nurse practitioner. I was surprised considering the pressures facing the NHS. Thought it would be nice for you to get a good review. Today my husband phoned having been ill for two weeks, got an Internet appt with a doctor, again efficient service. Thank you.

    I had been trying to book an appointment for my child's ongoing issue for last three months. As it is 'not urgent', it took over three month to book a telephone appointment from a doctor. I spent many hours (multiple occasions) calling to book an appointment yet they sent a text telling me long awaited appointment is cancelled. They did not give us any reasons of cancellation nor alternative appointments. There was no apology either. Just in the text saying that new appointments will be released at Tuesday afternoon. They expect patients to spend hours to book one (telephone) appointment yet cancel it without consultation, apology nor alternative appointment with one templated text. Then they expect the patient to call them again to book a new appointment. This is beyond disrespectful. I am already stressed with concern of my child and what this GP gives me is no support but dismay, which I don't expect from my GP. In addition, my routine blood test appointment is also changed without consultation nor explanation. Again, they simply sent me a text and if I can not make it, I have to contact them to change the date. I book appointments juggling with entire family's schedule and work commitments like many other patients but it seems like none of these factors are not important to this GP. I have been with this GP for 7 years but things are getting worse especially last 3 years... I must find a better GP for my sanity.

    In all my years of being registered with this practice I can only ever say good things about all of it, from the doctors, nurses, admin and reception staff. I find this practice to be extremely efficient and they, in my opinion, do very good job considering the amount of patients that must be registered here. I have no complaints whatsoever and feel very fortunate to be registered here.

    I wanted to thank all the staff & volunteers who made this morning's vaccines such an easy quick visit & very well organised. My husband and I are very grateful, we thought we would be queuing for a long time and were surprised to be dealt with so & efficiently.

    The last 2 times I have called regarding seeking medical advice, I have been advised "we are only taking urgent/emergency patients". This is a GP practice and not A&E? On one of my calls, I was told to pick up certain 'over the counter' meducations frm the pharmacy next door. I could not be offered an appointment till I had tried that for a couple of weeks. When I visited the pharmacy, I was advised that I could not purchase said medication without a prescription?! Please advise, what on earth is a patient supposed to do if they can't get an appointment or the medication they have been advised to buy??

Our staff are trained to triage patients according to their symptoms presented and to care navigate them to the most suitable place for treatment. As a GP may not always be the most suitable health care professional for you to see. Please note, we do also have an online service called eConsult, which you submit online and it then goes straight through for the attention of a GP in the practice. They can then advise you further.     I think you know iordering prescriptions is a mess and you doing your best but this is my experience today. I use the NHS App. I reset my password. I wade down the navigation and it says i have no repeat prescriptions. I use MyGP I get in using the same password, but this time it sends a code to my phone I click on several useless stages and get to my repeat prescription to find that it says rejected againsted 3 of the 4 medications. So next I go to the Vine Medical Centre Website navigate to repeat prescriptions where I have a choice of 4 options I choose the one I think I have used before. Yes its the right one because last month I chose the option to send an image of my paper prescription only to get an email from the surgery the next day to say that they cant use input from that and could I type in the list of medications. So there are methods which know what I want but dont work and the method that does works that makes me type them in. I put in quantity of 28 for 3 of them and 30 for the other. It used to let me say max because I have a stable prescrition and so 3 months would make more sense. I would save me time and 2 visits to the pharmacy, it would save the surgery 2 lots of processing and the cost of doing that, but of course the pharmacy makes more money by having 3 sales rather than 1 and I do not know why the surgery is in cahoots with this rip off. There was a time when you could order in the morning and pick up the paper prescription that afternnoon - now because of a huge increase in housing and the government not training enough staff it can take up to 7 working days. When I get into the Medi-pharmacy I am expecting that I will then have to go through the "game" of "We cant find any record of that". If I didnt suffer from anxiety from many sources at age 76 then this alone would induce the condition. It is a mess. Combined with an attitude of we mustprotect our doctors from patient seeing them in person I dispare. When I get into the Vine itself the reception desk is variable from absolutely wonderful to down right obstructive. The doctors and clinical staff are universally excellent.
