    Waited one month for a 10 minute phone appointment because I was told face to face appointments were not possible. On the day of my phone consultation, the line is cut. No call back. I had to call the reception several times to ask if I would get a call back. The response? The don't know if or when I'll get called back. Well, guess I better book another 10min appointment next month and if that gets cut off - tough luck?! I waited one month for 10 minutes of the GPs time and they can't even follow through. And that's after waiting 3 months until I could no longer ignore my health because I knew how terrible the service would be.

I'm so sorry that your telephone appointment was unsuccessful and that you didn't receive any further information. I would really like to look into this further.     I am the first person to let my views known to the practice (as I have done on a number of occasions over the past 16 years or so (always in writing or verbally and directly to the Practice Head) However, over the past few months there has been a definite improvement in the general front of house experience. We all know that GP surgeries are under strain because of bad planning by the NHS and Government and I alwasy try to take that into consideration if making a complaint. However, part;y due to my own mistake I had run out of some of the medication that keeps me alive. I visited the surgery, spoke to a lovely person on reception and then to (I assume the pharmacy lead). Some 30 minutes later my prescription was with my pharmacy and my medication will be available after lunch today. You cannot improve on that level of service. Many thanks for your help in what must still be a difficult working environment. Medical team are always good when you can get to speak to them.

    I have had a severe problem. I was seen by all sorts of people and felt I was going to be written off as nothing could be found to explain my condition. My new GP has been tenacious in getting me seen by the right consultant who has solved it. There has been great teamwork between the two and I am well again. I am hugely grateful. Also I love the new telephone system that includes a call back function - works really well and so much less frustrating.
