    Tried to book an appointment in advance to request some elective surgery. Kept being told to ring at 8am for next day appointment which I didn't need as not an emergency. Told the receptionist that I cannot call as am at work from 7;30am. Cannot book without calling, so how do I book. In 2023 this is not acceptable.

    Thank you for your comment- We can book in advance for non urgent appointments which you can call anytime of the day from 8am-6.30pm. We also hold saturday and evening clinics if you wish to book for one of those. Please feel free to call again and we can direct you the right way.

    Following and appointment with a Hospital Consultant I dropped of a form from my Consultant for a prescription on 23/05/23. To date it has not been dispensed. I have called the surgery nearly everyday for nearly 2 weeks now, getting the same reply "sorry for the delay but you prescription will be authorized today". 12 days and counting and still no prescription. The service is very very poor. The standards in the surgery have really dropped.

    I have been at Palms for 20 years but recently the service is brilliant from start to finish. Phone is always answered within a couple of rings. Well done to everyone involved in making this happen.

    new tablets prescribed 6/9 by consutant letter not actiond till 3/10when surgery visited Would not have been actioned otherwise was told doctor would phone later that day ,did not.Took 2 more attempts to get tablets then they missed off one regular item.very inefficient and stressful

    Hi there, I just want to say that I have been registered at the Palms Medical Centre for a very long time and overall I am very happy with it The doctors genuinely care about their patients and go the extra mile. The reception staff work so hard to support patients and are kind and polite. I receive calls from the pharmacists to check and review my medication, and the nurse is so lovely. It sounds like they are changing the phone system to improve the service so I can only speak as I find. I would give it a very good and send a big thank you for all the help and support to myself and my family! 🙂

    I called the practice and was offered an appointment within the week. I was carefully explained the new changes within the appointments and managed to book. The staff were friendly and helped and gave advice also. Seems people don't seem to praise when its needed. Thank you Palms

    Absolutely useless every time I try to order the exact same repeat prescription I have issues saying they dont have records even though they have all my hospital letters scanned on to my account
