    My 10 month old twins have managed to pick up every bug and illness going. Everytime I have called the practice since they have been born to consult with a doctor about them, I am given outstanding service from the team of receptionists and doctors. It’s obvious how hard they all work, but they never let that interfere with the care we are given. There are a couple of receptionists in particular that have been great. I know they genuinely care. It’s so reassuring to know that I can pick up the phone on behalf of my babies and get the help they need within a quick time frame. The team of receptionists there are under appreciated a majority of the time. They deserve more credit for all their hard work and the genuine care they give patients. So thank you from myself and my family.

    Everyone from the reception staff to all of the medical staff are doing excellent work - and have been for years.Be grateful we have people at the Southsea Medical Centre who pull out all the stops to help all-comers.

    Called for an emergency appointment at 8am for my child who was showing all symptoms of diabetes and I even mentioned this to her but as a receptionist she decided this wasn't an emergency and I had to go online and make a e-consalt at 10 am. I compleated the econsalt and it recommended I see the doctors today but the line was engaged for 4 hours and when I eventually got though the lady said we don't have any appointments left. The reception/office staff here need thorough training in listening to patients and recognising a medical emergency. I manged to see a doctor the next day and turns out our son has type 1 diabetes and was rushed to the hospital which he spent 3 days. I will request an investigation on the matter which has delayed treatment to a child for one day.
