I visited this surgery with my husband. We received excellent service from 2 doctors. They were helpful, informative, answered questions quickly without making us feel stupid and did not rush us. The reception staff were also very kind and helpful.

after constant redial, 3 times got to automated system, didn't work. 4th time it worked, on hold for 5mins, just to be cut off. tried ringing again, finally got automated system, surprise surprise , didn't work properly Again I am After a sick note because of my heart condition, this situation is not helping. The Deparys group is a joke

I had reported ongoing problems with my stomach & bowels on several occasions and was eventually prescribed tablets that only made the condition worse. After finally managing to get another appointment with the doctor it was decided that a stool & blood sample should be taken in regards to seeing if there were any signs of something more sinister. I never received the test kit for the stool sample despite the practice claiming they had sent it. I was then sent a second kit and this was submitted to the hospital. I didn’t hear anything after that and chased up the practice 2 weeks later. It was soon realised that the doctor had not ticked the correct boxes on the form to check for specific problems ie ‘possible signs of bowel cancer’. The practice then said they would send me another kit. But knowing what had happened before I asked if I could collect the kit myself. Two days later I went to pick this up from the Goldington surgery. They told me the kit had been sent to the practice in Pemberley Avenue. On arrival at Pemberley I was told the kit had been sent to Goldington (!) One of the staff spoke to the doctor and explained what had happened and my frustrations. He managed to find a spare kit in his office which I completed and dropped off the following day. I heard nothing regarding the results. This was a most worrying time for me and created a lot of anxiety. I eventually got to speak to another doctor and was told ‘nothing sinister’ was found. I have since changed my doctor as this is one of several negative experiences I have had with this practice. I do not have any faith in them as a doctors anymore, in fact I feel that they have become sadly incompetent.
