My baby hasn’t been well lately. After 2 consultations with external clinicians I wanted another opinion. Used the Florey service and got a same day phone call back and F2F appointment with the Nurse Practitioner who we often see for the children. They thoroughly examined my child properly, gave lots of reassurance and were given the right medication to start getting my child better. Always a friendly face and helpful and trust this nurse a lot with myself and my two children. Thank you.

I came today 10/2/23 and saw the doctor in room 5 at 9am with my daughter. He’s was really nice and examined my daughter and explained everything in detail to me in a way I could understand. After being so worried the last few weeks, i now feel relieved and happy she’s been seen and he went through different things with me and what to look out for. Overall very happy with this doctor was a lovely man.

I have tried to get an appointment to see any doctor about an urgent matter, but can't get an appointment until March for a phone call. 111 advised me to seek help immediately (ended up in hospital) with the same information that I gave on the online form to this practice. If I go online to check blood pressure results, the NHS website tells me to see a gp within 2 days, but I get a snarky texts reaponse or ignored when I try to get an earlier appointment. When they do call you for an appointment they don't give you chance to get to the phone before ringing off, and when you call back immediately you get attitude abiut missing the call. Its a disgrace

Dear Anonymous I am sorry you have not been happy with the service you have received from Church Street Surgery. As your comment is anonymous I am unable to investigate further, however I am happy to discuss your concerns if you call the surgery on 01562 745040 and ask to speak to the Site Manager. Wanted advice on a Covid cough. Doctor gave suggestions on what to do in addition to cough medicine and to follow advice for one week. Any problems to contact again

Can I please take this opportunity to extend a sincere thank you to the surgery staff who provided me with terrific care and compassion (as usual) following a period of feeling unwell at home a fortnight ago. The call navigator was a real delight on the day and so kind, which made a real positive impact on me. The doctor whom I had not previously known, was just phenomenal. From her candour delivered during my duty call, right through to her face to face consultation, she was caring, respectful, courageous in her conversation with me and most importantly she promoted my autonomy. It’s those little factors, all compiled together that made my contact with the practice a wonderful experience, triggering this contact.

My daughter had to have her hpv there because she has allergies and extremely needle phobic , the two nurses that dealt with her were patient, kind and understanding , spoke to her calmed her down and got it done . Extremely grateful to them both for being so compassionate. For my daughter kindness made a big difference to how she now views injections .

Been using this GP since we moved to Kidderminster and we've never had any issues. The nurses and Doctors are lovely with my toddler and make her feel comfortable to be examined, have her injections or flu vaccine.

After almost 2 weeks of experiencing extreme abdominal pain and being passed from pillar to post i decided to go private all I requested from my gp was a referral email to my private hospital of choice , I have since called daily to get this pushed through and still this has not been done , I am still in extreme pain , cannot work and cannot move forward without this referral, I am also in remission from bowel cancer and really concerned this maybe linked to my previous operation, in my view this is total incompetence by so called professional health care team , if I preformed this poor in my job I would be sacked

Dear Mr Hathaway I am very sorry to hear that you have not been happy with the service we have provided at Church Street Surgery, we take all concerns and complaints regarding our service very seriously and they are all investigated. As you will be aware all of our telephone calls are recorded and on interrogation of our system I can see that you spoke to a member of our reception team on 24.10.22 @ 9.08 and advised that you had arranged a private appointment and requesting the referral. You called again on 25/10/22 @ 14.14hrs for an update of the status of your referral and were advised that it was in hand. The referral was sent to the hospital of your choice on 25.10.22 @ 14.41hrs and a text message was sent to the mobile number that we hold on our system for you to confirm that the referral had been made. I am sorry that you feel this service is not up to the standard expected in General Practice and would be happy to meet with you to discuss your concerns further.
