    This surgery has been looking after my wife, my 3 children (12, 11 and 3) for 18 years now. They are exceptionally professional, friendly, obliging and effective. In the last 12 months they have dealt with all the day to day problems of children speedily, courteously and effectively. They have also been pro-active in making sure that my Long-Covid symptoms deteriorated no further. If there are delays on ringing into them, I suspect that is simply because they have fewer lines than the number of people calling. There are also other ways to get in touch with them, to which they respond. If there are delays in actually having your appointment, I suspect this is because they are prepared to go above and beyond to give each patient the time they need rather that that limited by the government. That may make you a little late but will mean you'll get the same attention.

    I was very very disappointed to be 8th in the queue when calling the surgery and then when getting to first in the queue 1 hour later the line disconnected. I immediately called back to be 3rd in the queue and had to wait another 40 minutes before the telephone was eventually answered. The receptionist however was very helpful

    I have been a patient here (along with my family) for 28 years. My appointment today was, as always, brilliant and the GP i saw was sensitive, kind and knowledgeable. I have used the econsult service several times and it is quick and responsive and convenient. I have always had an appt when needed and issues dealt with quickly when I didn’t. When I was seriously ill and used the phone to book they were amazing. I am more than aware of the pressures they are under but the care they provide is exemplary. Thank you

    Given telephone appointment with doctor between 2-3 pm.I call the surgery to find out what happened to my appointment at 3.35 am on hold for 25 minutes.whilst on hold doctor calls leaves a message assuming I had forgotten the appointment as I had to wait 1 month.I’m fuming as have to call the surgery back on hold for 59 minutes totally unacceptable. Still waiting for my telephone appointment .

    I've been a registered patient at sdhc since Jan 2020 - and all can say is that: to date, I've received and been offered nothing short of excellent care and support. Yes, sometimes the queue on tel. to get or wait for an appt. can be long, esp. in the mornings, but this is virtually the case for all gp clinics based across in the south east London areas, as I've quite a few relatives and friends living other boroughs in the south east, every gp clinic is under-immense-pressure. However, the care, support, advice and guidance you get from the doctors here is outstanding. As long as you are a patient willing to be supported/assisted; no doubt the doctors will help & support you amazingly, because I can't name individual doctors here online, yet all the ones for whom I sought help from were exceptional, with regard to my overall, short, as well as, long-term well-being - as a patient, therefore I feel empowered and fully informed of the best ways I can live my life as healthy and as disease free as far as possible, and made to feel that I can always return to the doctors and seek help & support, for an example, if things are not going in the right-directions for me.

    Takes 20-60min to answer phone. Takes 10 days to sign off repeat prescription from pharmacy. No appointments available. Have requested e-consult on 3 occasions and have never been called back until I called and informed that I am feeling suicidal as my medication has not been signed off. When I finally spoke to someone I was told "the problem is that my medication dose to high" by a female who clearly has never had any training that this is not what you say when you consulting someone with mental health - and please note the dose was not to high as assessed by private GP. I work full time and pay my National Insurance but feel that I am not receiving a service at all. The surgery blame COVID-19 but prior to the pandemic it took 2 weeks to get an appointment, they made you wait for at least an hour and then only had 10min tops of which they spend typing on the PC instead of taking vitals or asking about symptoms. Very poor.
