I received a call back from a GP today as planned. My test results were explained to me, additionally the GP advised and helped me with a prescription required. Throughout the consultation the GP was professional and polite, I did not feel hurried at all. Speaking from experience I have always found all staff at the surgery courteous, polite and helpful. Clearly there is tremendous pressure on all health services, however in my experience this has not detracted staff from being polite and professional with any contact I have had with the surgery.

Speaking with the receptionist today 5.12.22, I need a call back with my GP, he’s not available till tomorrow, but they would not pre-book a call back, my GP has witnessed my symptoms, so he will fully understand, I wasn’t asked why, or what my reason was for needing a call back, or if I could speak with another doctor, if my symptoms get worse, it may be a case of A&E, I do like the surgery, but sometimes they are let down by the reception staff, if they are to ask questions, then they should try and make sure they have asked the right ones, and if a alternative can be suffice, now, on top of my worries regarding my concerns, I am now left feeling extremely anxious.
