I’ve been a patient with this surgery for over 30 years, I’ve always found the reception staff, nurses and doctors very professional and always polite. As and when I visit the surgery there is always a warm welcome and I feel cared for and know they have my best interest. There have a been a few changes over the years with my doctor and I have always been kept informed of any changes. They all work extremely hard to deliver the level of care they provide.

Firstly I just want to say the doctors/nurses are very good, what’s not good are the people running the reception (not all, but some) I have a young baby who has had on going treatment and surgeries. There was a lump found which the doctor put down as urgent referral only for it to go down as routine and said it’s up to a year wait! A year for a lump for a baby ! I rang the hospital and they told me it needed to be urgent and there was no record of him having the lump or previous lump removed ! I rang this doctors back and explained it needed to be urgent and receptionist who told me she will change it urgently! they did not ! only to receive a phone call saying no one has changed it. The lump tripled in size I rang the doctor again to see if it has been changed and they said no it hadn’t ! I had to attended A&e where he is having to have surgery and now very poorly with it! It’s a joke. 2 years old and don’t get the care what so ever. I work in heath care myself and lumps are taken as a matter of urgency. Obviously not by this practice. I have been trying to do an online form for the last week but it’s down. Rang to get an appointment the receptionist told me there isn’t any. Absolutely outrageous.

I got an appointment the day I rang up the receptionist was very helpful and obliging the doctor was very good well mannered no complaints at all

Everything I've rang the phone has been cut off. I'm ringing about something important and there's no appointments available. I think the service is terrible.

Whenever I have needed to speak with a doctor I have always been spoken to or seen. The reception staff have always been friendly and helpful, which I believe in the current climate is rare. The doctor I visited was kind, thorough and really approachable. Overall really happy with my surgery and the services provided.

I have recently moved back to Wigan and signed up with Ashton Medical center the process was simple and i was panicing about my medication as i had ran out and my old doctors took ages to sort it before i transferred so it never got done but ashton medical center was straight on to it and got me sorted in a couple of hours. Amazing practice !
