    I wanted an appointment to a doctor for my daughter and the receptionist sent me to pharmacy for consulting her and give her some antibiotics for ear infection. At the pharmacy they told me that they are not doing anything like and they sent me back to Saffron Health. At Saffron Health, the receptionist said "I'm sorry for this!" and makes an appointment for next day. For all of these, I took two days off from work instead one.

    Good afternoon. Our receptionists are trained to sign post patients to the most appropriate service. Ear infections can be treated by local pharmacies under the "Pharmacy first" scheme which allows them to issue antibiotics.     I needed a standard repeat prescription and required an initial check up before being prescribed. I ordered the repeat prescription back in April, it’s now the end of June and I’m still going round in circles. Instead of one appointment, I had to have two (which has never been the case for the 20 years I’ve been on this medication). I had the first appointment and then the 2nd got cancelled. I rang up to rearrange and was on hold for over 45 minutes. Second appointment was a telephone appointment - this also got cancelled on the day as they didn’t have enough information. Although all information was provided in the first appointment. I have completed the standard forms online twice now and I’m still receiving messages asking to complete the online forms. The whole process has taken 2 months so far and has been incredibly inefficient for a check up that usually only takes 15 minutes. Bonkers!
