    At 15:03 on the 11th may 2023 I started a call to the doctors to make a appointment I was number 7 in the call cue At 17:47 I gave up Do you think this is acceptable Because I don’t I spent over one hour at number one in the cue I hung up my anxiety was going though the roof I know it can get very busy at times but nearly three hours is a bit much

    All gp services have issues with appointments being in short supply, however after 3 days of getting through at 8am on the dot and still no appointments I was advised to beat the call traffic to que up outside the surgery for an appointment. I think that this is actually discrimination there are those that cannot get out of bed for an appointment be it illness or disability. Someone who is immobile (not me) is unable to get through on the line or manage to get up and out in time to que for an appointment and not everybody has Someone who can que on thier behalf. This is simply an unfair practice and could be resulting in someone very poorly not getting appointment simply because patient a with something a pharmacy could sort was able to go and que up outside for her appointment at 7.45am.

    Yet again have tried to get an appointment to see a doctor/nurse only to be told to ring back tomorrow morning getting pretty fed up with this,my husband was diagnosed with heart failure in September last year because he was refused an appointment,spent many hours in the N&N (thank you allxx) went on to have a heart attack just before Christmas!!! Perhaps this needs a review

    We have been trying for many days to see a GP for our little one, it is impossible to get appointment. They have disabled most of the online system like contact forms to reach out to surgery and only available system is showing no available appointment for next 2 months. Even if calling at 8 in morning no appointments available. We have been having same experience for a while now.

    I am proud of every single one of Roundwell’s Reception staff for keeping going when you could so easily have voted with your feet and left the NHS. You all care, you care so much that when things go wrong, or you read negative comments it hurts. You all feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of demand that is pouring down on you. You all go home in the evening and have sleepless nights thinking about that person who was upset, shouted at you, or made you cry when your hands are tied by the system or the lack of appointments. Do you want to ask “Is it an emergency for today” - No you don’t, but if there is no other way, what do you do. Thank you for everything you have done during the two covid years and everything you continue to do, there are people out there who really do appreciate it.

    Today i had a flu jab and the health care worker giving the jabs is very good at putting people at ease. Excellent manner always asks how you are and listens when you are having a bad time

    Multiple attempts at contacting the practice to book an appointment in advance to get down to number "1" in the call que just to be cut off by the phone system. Call back to join a Que of 10 Callers not appropriate after 36 minutes of waiting to be answered

    I’ve been with this practice for nearly 7 years. They were great through Covid, but since then have gone downhill rapidly. I called today to ask for an urgent appointment to see someone about my deteriorating mental health and was told the earliest appointment would be 15th November, over a month. When I objected, I was given an appointment one week earlier. I desperately need to go back onto medication and I tried to explain this to the receptionist, but she just got impatient with me. I am now changing practice.

    I have been a customer of Roundwell surgery for many years and I can see that recently it is getting worse. The website is old and not working properly - if you try to leave negative feedback it leads you to a website saying "Form unavailable" like they don't want you to leave any negative feedback. There is no way for people with disabilities to reorder medication as the form online is unavailable, and there is no email address to find anywhere for the surgery or to repeat the prescription, also you cannot order medication by making a call. The only acceptable way of ordering the medication is to write what needs to be ordered on a piece of paper and throw it into a letter box at the surgery. So thoughtful of people with disabilities or people who need constant care and their carers. Somehow other surgeries adapted to modern technologies and accepted online forms and emails to order medication. That should be addressed immediately as that's not very inclusive and maybe it's against the disability act.
