I went for my annual flu injection. I got there at the time I was given, and a few minutes later I was called in by the nurse. The nurse took my temperature, which was normal. Before the injection, she did proper checks - ie blood pressure and weight - and asked how I was. She took time to listen which was very good, did not rush me. Gave me some good advice on breathing exercises that I can practice at home. She then gave me the injection. All at the allocated time. The atmosphere was relaxed and reassuring.

Every time I come for my diabetes appointments, I have to wait over 20minutes. This service cannot manage their appointments in my opinion, yet they seem to expect patients to rebook if they are late for an appointment.

Apologies from Rosewood Practice for your wait time. Unfortunately some times the clinic over runs due to elderly patients, we do not like to rush them. Regarding rebooking appointments if your late, our Practice nurse accommodates every patient even if they are late, she has never refused to see a patient. I am not sure if you are talking about the Diabetic specialist nurse who works for Homerton not Rosewood Practice but she sees our patients. The specialist nurse is not based here so needs to return to Homerton hence why she is unable to see patients that are late. If you would like to discuss this further please contact the Rosewood Practice and ask to speak to the Practice Manager. Thank you
