    Normally I would never leave a review of a GP surgery, I understand it is complicated and underfunded and we are lucky to have the NHS we do. Richford Gate has been excellent and I generally find it to be an efficient surgery with excellent doctors. However, there is a receptionist there that is so rude it is almost amusing. Calling on the morning of 9th Oct 2023 at 08:15, after the usual tutting preamble and condescending tone while I explained my issue, I was told to 'send a nice and polite email' to the prescriptions address and they might be able to help me, when she reiterated the 'nice and polite' requirement I felt compelled to remind her say I was not a child with all due respect would prefer not to be patronised. I have been on the receiving end of her inquisitorial and suspicious line of questioning before and assume that the numerous reviews that mention a 'very rude receptionist' are all about the same person. It is such a shame. I am sure it is a stressful and often thankless job, but there is more than an inkling that this particular individual really enjoys the power she can wield over callers that may well be in distress.

    As an 85 year old in a quandary as to whether I should go on holiday in 6 days time as I had an unexpected symptom, the Doctor was very knowledgeable about the symptom and explained the timescale of possible treatment. It therefore provided me with the relevant information with which to make my decision. Post Cript I am going on holiday!

    I am extremely happy with my appointment today. The practice pharmacist was well informed and able to answer and reassure me with every question I asked. I have been a patient here for 40 years. Happy.

    Today I saw one of the practice pharmacists she was very friendly and smiley which which was lovely. Clinically she was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions.

    Recently we have had to make a lot of calls on Richford Gate Medical practice. The response has been supportive, helpful and efficient, including reception/admin, doctors, nurses and prescriptions team. Therefore we would like to place on record our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone in our trying times - also for flu and Covid jabs

    I have been with this surgery for over 40 years. All my family have been patients and we love this practice. I have various health issues and the doctors, health practitioners and support staff have always been helpful and supportive. Even with all the current pressures I feel supported, consulted and well informed about my physical and mental health. The surgery always seem to be on top of my conditions and the treatmens. A GP rang to tell me today how improved my condition is and to congratulate me. I can't think about one negative thing to say. Thank You to all at Richford Gate.

    Had left a written claim for a persisting problem I had been experiencing. I was contacted the morning of the submission and was requested to visit the GP as necessary. The diagnosis was aligned exactly with what nhs website said, and as a precaution issued the medication. Overall the experience was a breeze. In a highly populated city of London, I would say the process was very clear and executed perfectly. 1. Check NHS website 2. If no self resolution, create online or phone claim 3. Recieve call and or recommendation of resolution. 4. Visit GP
