    The phone system is absolutely awful, it keeps hanging up on you while you are in a queue. If you ever get to speak to a receptionist you will likely not be able to see a doctor as the spots are all taken within 30-45 minutes. Worst surgery I have ever been with.

    I have every confidence that my health issues will be given the full attention of the doctors and nurses in this practice. While criticism of medical practices is generally on the increase, I can honestly say that the care and support that I have received is improving. I feel that my problems are taken seriously and every effort is made to ensure the best possible outcome.

    It is near impossible to get an appointment at this surgery. I just called this morning, after waiting a very long time to get through to reception I was told that the doctors will only take very urgent appointments today and that I would need to call back tomorrow at 8am. I said I wouldn't be able to call again tomorrow at 8am as I will be at work and she just said call back next week! She didn't even ask what was wrong or my name before she terminated the call and now I'm in tears. This happens every time I call. I am genuinely unwell and also suffer with bad anxiety. Making the call in the 1st place can take me days to do and when ever I do call I don't even get a call back. Meanwhile I am getting more and more unwell. The phone message says you can book online but when I try you have a 3-5 week wait. This is no good. I've been with this surgery since 2004 and it used to be ok but the last few years have been a nightmare. I am unsure what j should do now. This is really not a good practice. My friends and family repeatedly ask me why I'm not going to the doctors when I'm unwell but this is why. You can never get an appointment and it's so difficult to get through to reception!

  4. Review titled Pre-recorded message an insult to intelligence!

    So fed up listening to the pre-recorded, unbelievably long and unneccesssry set of instructions when phoning for an appointment. The vast majority of fairly intelligent patients surely know that if they have dental problems they should see a dentist, if they have eye problems they must go to an optician, if they have an emergency they should call NHS24 etc etc etc.!!! It really is an insult to most peoples intelligence! My elderly parents are also having the same difficulties getting through and often wait 20 minutes or more to speak to a receptionist. The question must be asked, 'Is the extra long message and repetitive music for each and every call, designed to cut the number of patients getting tbrough? - obviously if each person has to listen to all that mind-numbing information, it holds up the line for everyone else?' Since the rest if society is moving on and having to learn to 'live with covid', isn't it time the surgery also moved on and gets back to a more normal pre-pandemic efficient service?
