    30 years my family has used this practice.I have heard poor reports from locals.I have had phone calls to organise hospital appointments for 2 years all good.I made a face to face appointment yesterday because the phone calls are now any time in a 2 to 3 hour slot.This is no good! My face to face was great.This new regime will get it right if they listen to the older patients who have had a great surgery for years.Just Listen!

    Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I am glad to learn that your face-to-face appointment was great. However, you also mentioned that call-backs from telephone consultations are now between 2 to 3 hours. Unfortunately, we do not give specific times for call-backs from the doctors but a range between 2 to 3 hours, because the doctors could run late because of the nature and complexity of the previous patients’ needs prior to your appointment, which may mean they are not able to call back at the time you are given. But please contact the surgery on 01384 422 698 to speak to the Practice manager to discuss any suggestions you may have to help us improve our service. Kind regards Practice manager.

    2 weeks I have been trying to get an appointment and the practice has only sent automated responses.

    Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry to learn that you were not able to get an appointment when you wanted one. I do not however understand what you mean by 'the practice has only sent automated responses', as we do not send any automated responses to patients. If you call the surgery for an appointment, you will get a message that directs you to press the correct number for the service you require, and staff would deal with calls appropriately.     All the medical team working here are extremely caring and will do anything they can to help. I'd like to say its like an old fashioned doctors where the staff get to know you!! I've seen the same g.p every time and I'm thankful they do injections there rather than refer you to somewhere else, which you have to wait even longer. It's great to see same same G.P unlike these big practices with many g.ps employed there. So glad I came to this practice!!!
