   I was looking to book a non urgent appoint to have a prostate examination. I'm unable call at 08:30, but given this is non urgent, I thought it should be easy enough to get an appointment maybe 4 weeks away. Unfortunately not. They are only able to book appointments 14 days from the day you call, and in order to get one of these, you have to call at 08:30. I find it baffling. The receptionist was really polite and as helpful as she could be, but insisting that non urgent appointments are with 14 days is beyond my understanding. So basically your options are to try and get through at 08:30 or pay for it and go private.
