I had a appointment at 8/30 not seen at the time told I did go to reception they just told me to wait by now the time was 8/45 I did ask if the nurse was coming just was told to wait in the sitting area they will find out but the lady who was seeing to me was too busy booking herself a eyebrow appointment there was no apology and was told it’s none of my business what she doing on the phone this surgery has no patient care or dealing with lateness by there staff I’m absolutely disgusted in behaviour today and I felt like I was the one in the fault as she thought her eyebrow appointment was more important I will be looking to change by surgery as I can’t not deal with people who are not taking there job seriously

  2. Review titled Poor

Rated 1 star out of 5

Used to be a great practise but since it was sold it no longer functions. Never see the same Dr twice, details are not passed on so referrals & treatments get delayed. Its impossible to get hold of anyone on the phone. if you do the receptionists are stroppy. I had a fantastic GP her for years but now no one seems to care. It just isn't working

  3. Review titled Seen quickly and with a smile

I called up to have an appt with a Dr on Friday (13th of Jan) and I was called back 15 mins later and seen face to face later that day. I then needed a blood test and the nurse could see me there and then, the receptionists were lovely and very calm, the Dr was kind and listened to me and the nurse put my mind at ease and made me laugh! A really positive experience all around! Thank you all

  5. Review titled Downhill Stretch

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Scared Patient - Posted on 04 January 2023

Stayed after the mass resignation as I dont use doctors much until now. In December I had a Heart attack and heart surgery, when discharged I had a leter containing the medication I need to be on for life. 2 weeks later I find the surgery have lost the letter and no knowledge of my medication , asking who I gave it to and am I sure i delivered it whilst whingeing to other staff about a lost Samsung receipt, such professionalism. Knowing the whole staff and their shift patterns was not in the sign on forms i’m afraid, so do I trust them anymore or move practices? This has me worried at a time i’m supposed to avoid stress.

  7. Review titled Really great practice, efficient staff and good service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Susan Byrne - Posted on 18 August 2022

I have been with Mitchison Road for 10+ years now and have always been very satisfied with how the practice treats patients, processes requests and results and keeps the patient informed. Lately I am finding the new app (Dr iq) to be an extremely efficient and helpful means of speaking with the clinic, a doctor, a clinician or the admin team - they are super fast, responsive and efficient and I have never once felt like they genuinely don't want to do what is best for me. Even getting to see a GP face to face is relatively easy; when it is pre-determined that you need this; I am very happy with the team at Mitchison Road and would happily recommend to anyone :)
