    Had an appointment which said telephone call online. Did not receive a call but ten minutes after the appointment a text was sent saying I had missed the appointment face to face. I was absolutely furious. I actually took a screen shot of my appointment online page which showed meden medical services were at fault because my appointment showed a telephone call online. No apology was given by the receptionist in fact I was made to feel I was wrong .I was seen at the surgery after my appointment time. I am aged 73 and I have never missed a nhs appointment. .

    Spoke to receptionist about an ongoing problem, details taken, advised someone would call me back. Contacted shortly after and offered appointment with nurse within the hour. Nurse was polite, professional and listened, antibiotics prescribed. Thank you to all involved.

    After a really bad episode in hospital I was really grateful for amazing follow up from meden medical services.I only wish i could name the person who helped me so much. The help is there if you ask . I am truly grateful for the follow up I have received

    When trying to get an appointment I rang 97 times before even getting on the loop and was number 10. I waited 30 minutes to get to number 2 then cut off. I repeated the process to be asked my symptoms and a triage nurse would call back. I didn't want to discuss my symptoms with the receptionist but felt I had to. I also asked if my blood and urine test redults had come back. She told me I could get the results online telling me all the reasons it would be better before saying yes they were back and no further action. She was unpleasant and gad no empathy...obviously in the wrong job. My husband and I both need an appointment but keep putting it off because of how difficult it is. I keep getting told I can book online but everyday I look there are none available

    Medical Medical Services are seriously lacking in all aspects of customer care and in my opinion this can only be a result of bad management poor administration and total lack of supervisory care. As I am not getting anywhere with my GP practice who sadly give the impression over the phone that they just couldn't; care less I have taken the following steps to ensure my health is protected and I get the medical help and support I require. I have registered for a well know on line Virtual GP service and whilst I have to pay it is worth it knowing I am being treated as a patient and human being and actually cared about. I have also taken steps to register with a new practice enough is enough in the interests of my own medical health and well being I am no longer prepared to tolerate a poor and unacceptable standard of service from my GPs surgery In defence of the lady I spoke to this morning at Meden Medical Services this morning she sounded very very stressed up in her voice and no doubt is in risk of call centre burn out having to take so many calls and try and defend the lack of patient support and help on offer. Over the years I have seen so many excellent Doctors come to the practice and then leave and I seriously feel this needs to be questioned and their reasons for leaving. My comments are based on my own personal experience as a patient
