    I had reason to contact the surgery this week with an acute medical problem and was dealt with very quickly, efficiently and sympathetically by everyone. I had a test carried out the same morning, the result telephoned to me that afternoon and an appointment suggested with the GP two days later. I was extremely satisfied with this service.

    I emailed an e consultation on a form as no one picks the phone up for ages and I thought that would be quicker. My son needs an MRI scan, so I wanted some advice etc............ An email was sent back just a generated one saying a GP will call. They did at 2pm in the afternoon, sorry we are at work and cant get to the phone. No time was given or offered for a telephone consultation. So, I called the surgery and explained that we would need a late appt due to work, we were offered one in a month's time and 4.00pm. So no hurry to help my son out of pain!, also 4.00pm most people are still at work, and why if he is in pain does he have to wait a month. Very unhelpful, rude and uninterested 'robotic' receptionist just repeating the rules as if she was reading them. No personal care or help. My son just wants a form - does it have to be this hard if someone is in pain?
