Terrible when you call the surgery and you ask to see a particular dr as your sick of seeing different ones it’s lik Groundhog Day , when you ask for the dr of your choice you are told no appointments dr not in the surgery some days later you then find out that someone you know saw the dr that week yet I’m still waiting I’m sure going to A& E would be quicker it does not feel like a caring place it’s a small town it feels more like a business !

I rang this morning for an appointment spoke to receptionist who was lovely and fitted me in to see a nurse practitioner

Twice in the last few weeks I’ve needed to speak to a GP quite urgently. The first time, I had just been discharged from hospital with atrial flutter and the new medication was making me feel I’ll and suicidal. I patiently waited 5 days for a telephone consultation booked online. The GP I spoke to was concerned and made me a face to face appointment with another GP the next morning. This was subsequently cancelled by the surgery as said GP was ill and I was given an appointment a further week later by which time I was in a proper state. I have had another minor heart attack meantime and am likely to have another while I wait for an operation. I thought to speed up the process by requesting a GP referral for private treatment and wanted to query some medication issues too, so I called the surgery this morning and I cannot speak to one doctor (out of 5 in the practice) until next week! Ridiculous ! Third world service :-(
