    Having rung the previous day for x ray results, I was told to ring next day to make phone appointment. After over 200 attempt finaly got through at 5 in queue. After reaching 1 in queue and waiting for 20 minutes at 9.00 I was cut off. Will now have to wait untill Monday to go though this extremely stressful process again.

    Ivel gets a bad rep on local social media, of which I think most is due to people having unnecessary expectations. I joined Ivel at the beginning of the pandemic and have had no problems with continuing my regular injections and no problems with my prescriptions either. I haven't needed them for anything urgent until recently when I was very painful the day after an op. I called in the morning and explained the situation and a doctor called me back within 15 minutes. I wasn't expecting such a speedy response and was very appreciative for this. I have always found reception to be helpful and reasonable when I have needed to call. Thank you!

    I am a 68 years old and been a patient for over 35 years. Since the relocation from the Baulk i find the professionalism of staff very poor, particularly the reception team. I have been trying to get a doctors appointment since November last year. I managed to speak to a doctor after 212 phone call attempts in one day. I got a telephone appointment which did not solve my health problem. I had an injury at work 6 months ago injuring my shoulder and back. I was given pain killers. To date i am still trying to see a doctor but give up now. I went to the surgery a few days ago and was met with very abrupt and rude reception staff. They were very unhelpful. I was in severe pain because my shoulder injury has got worse. Now i get pains down my arms. I cant do the normal things like getting dressed or reaching into cupboards. Sleeping is a nightmare because of shooting pain in my arms. I often cry with pain while i try to sleep. Enough is enough I have given up with this practice, its almost impossible to get an appointment and now plan to register at another ptactice. This practice is a waste of tax payers money, how they were rated good is betond me.

    The healthcare professionals at this surgery are fantastic. However you won’t get to see them unless 111 book you an emergency appointment. Phone lines never work, on the rare occasion you get through after ringing 200 times the reception team are not very helpful and tell you to ring again the next day. I understand they are busy but they do lack compassion or even just a kind voice, robotic repeats of ring at 8am tomorrow.
