    This practice has the audacity to use the NHS app to send urgent messages to their patients advertising the fact they are using their premises to allow presumably private firms to teach maths and English classes ! Of course this will bring more money into the practice but Really ! Is that the best use of the app when patients are waiting weeks for appointments and months for annual reviews. Think before you register here !

    Dear Sir/Madam Thank you for your review. Please accept my apologies for sending you the recent text; we wanted to try and ensure that as many people as possible were made aware of the free financial wellbeing course. We firmly believe that improving someone’s social situation will result in a corresponding improvement in their health, which is why we have agreed to publicise the course and allow the training provider to use our meeting room at no charge and will be providing free refreshments for those attending.     I ordered my medication on or before the 21st of June. When I went to the Pharmacy to collect it, not had the prescription from the Hadwen Medical Practice, this was the first of July. For some reason we do not get notice on our phone text anymore that it is ready to collect! At the Pharmacy I said that I have run out of tablets, and could I have a couple to tie me over. He said no, we are not allowed to do that! Why has somebody not done their job properly. Is it the Pharmacy or is it the Practice? I will be in touch on Monday morning! as I’m desperate for the medication!

    Received a Doctors telephone call which I missed by a second picking up the phone, Rang back immediately Receptionist said Id have to join the appointment que which was number 21 what.. Practice surely should have a Direct Line for such Calls appalling service from a Doctors. .Receptionist need more compassion, Understanding, and humanity. especially when people are poorly

    On Thursday 2nd of March 6.30pm I received phone call ,but couldn’t hear or understand most of it as phone line not clear,sound really muffled,like underwater, it wasnt first time when gp called me, not sure if it one particular gp office as no problem hearing when phoning in. spoke to some people and they experience same, hard to hear or understand as line not clear. After all that efford of gp calling me back I was left with not sure what she was saying due bad connection .

    I must compliment the doctor who saw me and for the medicines prescribed, everything worked well, however I had to apply for additional medicine and did this through the Patient Advisor who passed my request to the Prescription Team, the speed and efficiency that this was processed, tells me how well you all work as a team.A big thank you from me

    I called up the practice today at 11am and received a telephone appointment with the nurse at 3pm. I was called promptly at the given time and the service I received was excellent. Every time I’ve seen the nurse over the years she has been absolutely lovely, informative, kind and caring. I believe credit where due should be given and the service I’ve always received at Hadwen has been nothing short of outstanding.

    My elderly father was extremely unwell this week and I had a very positive experience dealing with Hadwen Health on his behalf. The patient advisor was excellent - relayed messages and communicated back to me swiftly. A doctor called me shortly after and was excellent - very thorough. Not long after that, another doctor came out to see him - she was professional, friendly, helpful and showed genuine kindness and concern. She gave him a thorough examination and quickly arranged for him to go to hospital where is recovering now. My father has always spoken very highly of the practice and now I know why!
