    I have learnt from previous occasions that you are more likely to get a phone call and/or an appointment with a doctor by completing the econsult form online which I did at 8am on Friday, 19th January on behalf of my 2 year old daughter. The Doctor called me by 9am requesting an in person appointment at 10am which I was unable to get to. I requested a later appt time on the same day only to be told this was the only time the doctor could offer and I should call the reception to see if there was another doctor available later in the day. I called the Reception frequently for 30 mins until I finally got a place (number 10) in the queue, waited on hold for 1 hour and 18 minutes to get to number 1 when the line started to ring... and ring and ring but no answer. I dropped the line then called back using both my personal and work mobile phones. My personal line got through first after being on hold for 58 minutes and 28 seconds to make it from number 6 to 1 in the queue. The same thing happened, the line rings and rings but no-one answers. So I held out on my work mobile phone hoping for third time lucky and after 49 minutes and 12 seconds of being in the queue, the same thing happened again. A complete waste of time leaving me with no option but to use 111.

    Having called at 8am to be number 9 in the que I got to number 1 after 30 mins then it changed to a ringing tone as though they would pickup the phone. 50 mins later I gave up

    Only 4 chairs in the waiting room - what’s that about? Especially when people are waiting for so long. Last appointment I waited for 50 minutes. Currently, already running 10 mins late, daughter is sitting on the floor because … 4 chairs! And the plastic screen so you can’t actually hear the receptionist or they you. Speakers and microphones? Difficult to get an appointment, when you do get one, waiting for the doctor for so long. I don’t blame the doctors or the receptionists, but something is broken.

    Tried calling at 8am to get an appointment for my 6 year old daughter. After calling for 30 minutes I finally got onto the queue at caller number 9. After another 1 hour and 10 minutes I finally got to caller number 1 at which point the phone just kept ringing the practice but no one ever picked the phone up. Ended up taking my daughter to A&E for something that my local doctors surgery should have dealt with.

    1 hour and 10 mins on hold before anyone answers the phone! Absolutely shocking - we wouldn’t put up with this from any other service provider!

    I moved to Gsgmc from Chelsfield surgery. The service was amazing in contrast. Unfortunately it has declined considerably over the last 12 months. I tried to order my repeat prescription online but the option has disappeared as the dose has changed. I tried to call the prescription office between 10 and 12 but every time it was engaged and then cut off my call. I am now waiting for the main reception - I was 9th in the queue 1hr 40 ago. I am now 2nd. All I need is for my repeat prescription to be reinstated. It's shocking.

    I have tried for the last 4 week days to get through on the phone. This was at many different times of the day and not once could I get through. A couple of times I got to first in the queue but phone was never answered. Eventually I visited the surgery to ask my question. Receptionist was very helpful and I got my information within a couple of minutes. I saw the phones ringing whilst I was there but nobody answered them. The receptionists were too busy dealing with people in the surgery. Seems clearly under staffed and needs a dedicated member of staff to only deal with phone calls, this may stop so many people visiting surgery in person. On the positive I have to say when I have been able to see a doctor they have always been exceptionally good and the receptionists extremely helpful. It is a great pity the surgery let’s itself down so badly with patient communication

    After waiting for 35 mins on landline, I was No. 3 on patient waiting list then a further 24 mins ringing out to finally accept no-one was going to answer. Then a further 36 mins on a mobile before I spoke to a receptionist,who was very apologetic about the wait. The telephone system needs updating or reviewing at least.

    The website states the opening hours 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, but it's impossible to get through the phone at any time of the day. Just now I was held waiting in a queue for 2 hours and finally nobody picked the phone on their end! This should be solved as quickly as possible, I'm thinking about placing a formal complaint about that practice.

    No one answers, tried calling 5 times, held in a cue being told what number I was, then when I get down to caller 3 or 2 changes to a ring tone, waiting another 30 minutes so nearly an hour in all and still no answer!!!
